Dr. Stephanie Gilbert, Ph.D.
Dr. Stephanie Gilbert is an Assistant Professor of Management at the Shannon School of Business at Cape Breton University.
Dr. Gilbert holds a PhD in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Saint Mary’s University, an MSc in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences from the University of Western Ontario, and a BA (Honours) in Psychology and Business Administration from Wilfred Laurier University.
She has applied her psychological and health sciences backgrounds to design evidence-based business solutions. Dr. Gilbert’s research and consulting activities focus on leader motivation, leadership effectiveness, and leadership emergence within groups and teams.
Dr. Gilbert is well-recognized within the leadership and organizational development fields, and has worked with a variety of industries—nursing and healthcare, the non-profit sector, and small business/start-up businesses.
